Prosthetics & Rehabilitation

The Challenge

Tens of thousands of amputations in Ukraine demand both immediate and long-term prosthetic care, yet at the current pace, meeting this need could take over a decade. Restoring mobility and confidence requires more than a prosthesis—it requires a coordinated path back to independence.

Our Response

In partnership with Baylor College of Medicine Global Health, Texas Children's Hospital we are developing a Prosthetics & Rehabilitation Center of Excellence to support training and development while strengthening patient outcomes and creating a durable national blueprint.

Our Approach

Train prosthetists and rehabilitation specialists alongside leading specialists from BCM and TCH
Strengthen national systems for assistive technology access, fitting, maintenance, and sustained support
Expand prosthetic care pathways by integrating 3D printing into routine clinical practice
Build a clinical database to track outcomes, identify gaps, and guide improvement priorities
