Dr. Savo Bou Zein Eddine completed his undergraduate studies in Biology (BS ’13) at the American University of Beirut (AUB) graduating first on the Faculty of Arts and Sciences and receiving the prestigious Penrose Award. He then finished his medical studies (MD ’17) at the Faculty of Medicine at AUB from which he received his second Penrose Award. He was also inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society (ΑΩΑ) in 2016.
He completed his postdoctoral research fellowship at the Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW) - Department of Surgery – Division of Trauma, Critical Care, and Acute Care Surgery working under the supervision of Marc A. de Moya, MD. He is currently a resident physician in General Surgery at Massachusetts General Hospital, an affiliated hospital for Harvard Medical School.
