Ukrainian doctors are superheroes who strive to save Ukrainian soldiers and civilians. Every day they provide care to patients who sustained injuries as a result of the war that Russia has waged against Ukraine.

But even superheroes sometimes find themselves in need of support. That is why GMKA has announced the start of a fundraising campaign to raise USD 15,000 for the first Ukrainian translation of Deployed Medicine, a collection of clinical recommendations for military surgeons. We invite everyone who is interested to support this initiative!

These are, without exaggeration, some of the best training materials for military medics. “Surgical Combat Casualty Care”, a translation of which is currently pending, contains the latest guidelines on surgical care and operative management of injuries sustained on the battlefield.

Opening access to this educational tool for Ukrainian doctors will allow them to fight for every life on the brink due to Russian military aggression even more effectively.

Each donation is your personal contribution to the rescue of Ukrainian soldiers!

In the context of this project, we plan to translate 60 separate manuals on liquid resuscitation, treatment of limb and brain injuries, performing amputations and applying “Damage Control” tactics, as well as other important military surgical topics into Ukrainian.

All translated guidelines will be published on the organization’s website: www.gmka.org
