Announcing a reconstructive plastic surgery observership in the USA

Organizations “Heal Ukraine Group” and “Global Medical Knowledge Alliance” announce the recruitment for observership in reconstructive plastic surgery at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Massachusetts General Hospital (Boston, USA).
To participate in the internship, it is necessary to submit an application, including a CV written in English, by April 30, 2023.
Requirements for candidates:
- Current employment in a Ukrainian healthcare institution at the time of application and the beginning of internship;
- specialization in the field of reconstructive plastic surgery.

The training program will be initiated following the completion of all formal procedures and will continue for 1 to 3 months. The internship will take place under the guidance of physicians working in medical institutions affiliated with Harvard Medical School.
The organizers will cover the expenses related to visa processing, housing, and transportation. In addition, the selected candidate will be supported throughout the stage of document preparation and during his/her stay in the USA.
“After consultations with healthcare experts and state authority representatives in Ukraine, our team identified reconstructive plastic surgery as one of the priority specializations for Ukrainian medicine. We are convinced that the development of relevant competencies among doctors will contribute to overcoming the consequences of the war among both the civilian population of Ukraine and military personnel“, – say the organizers.
The organizers will announce the results of the internship selection by May 31, 2023, by sending a message to the e-mail address specified in the registration form.
The internship is carried out in cooperation with the Harvard Scholars at Risk Program at Harvard University.
