The GMKA Team Participated in Kyiv's Race for the Cure® to Support Women with Breast Cancer

The Race for the Cure® aims to raise funds and awareness for breast cancer, a disease affecting 500,000 women in Europe each year. In 2024, Inspiration Family Ukraine plans to collect UAH 2.5 million to support the treatment of Ukrainian women battling the disease.

This year’s event in Kyiv attracted 573 participants and 34 teams, collectively raising over €12,000. Participants wore pink elements in their clothing, the internationally recognized symbol of the fight against breast cancer.

As part of its ongoing mission to enhance medical care in Ukraine, GMKA supports the Race for the Cure® and the efforts of Inspiration Family Ukraine. At GMKA, we believe that fighting cancer requires more than just advanced medical treatment — it also demands increased awareness and education. 

A key aspect of our work is creating educational materials for patients and promoting evidence-based medicine. By offering patients and their families the latest health information, GMKA empowers them to take an active role in their care. Our involvement in the Race for the Cure® is another step in raising awareness about breast cancer and its prevention.

Regular screenings and early detection greatly enhance treatment outcomes, making public education a key priority. In partnership with Ukrainian and international experts, GMKA has created a series of informative materials to raise awareness and empower patients with knowledge about breast cancer.

GMKA is also dedicated to supporting healthcare professionals by developing and distributing educational materials. These resources help specialists stay up-to-date with the latest global protocols and guidelines for the diagnosis and treatment of breast cancer.
