Quality and Safety Course for Ukrainian Healthcare Professionals

The Quality and Safety Course, developed by the Global Medical Knowledge Alliance (GMKA), is an online training program designed to help close critical gaps in healthcare delivery in Ukraine amid the ongoing war. Created specifically for Ukrainian surgeons, anesthesiologists, and nurse practitioners, the course offers practical, evidence-based tools and strategies to improve patient safety, support quality improvement (QI) efforts, and apply Enhanced Recovery After Surgery (ERAS) protocols. Led by international medical experts, the program encourages a culture of safety and teamwork to improve outcomes in surgical and perioperative care.
