The quality and safety initiative seeks to elevate healthcare in Ukraine by adopting international clinical guidelines and improving patient care safety.
Key Priorities:
Process Standardization: Align surgical interventions, clinical guidelines, and treatments to boost clinical efficiency and patient safety.
Enhanced Education: Improve healthcare professional training and expand patient medical literacy by providing evidence-based information in Ukrainian.
Morbidity and Mortality Conferences: Conduct root cause analyses to review participant actions and prevent medical errors.
Patient Health Literacy: Strengthen physician-patient communication and promote shared decision-making by improving patient understanding.
Guideline Adaptation: Tailor international standards and clinical processes to Ukraine's healthcare system for better patient safety and outcomes.
Accessible Knowledge: Disseminate open-access educational materials to enhance patient comprehension and drive change.
Data-Driven Improvement: Collect prospective data to establish baselines and ensure improvements are meaningful and sustainable.
